Hiya all at the Ley god my advice to all of you peers at Agulnik & further up the structure is please be patient because as the saying goes, all good things come to those who wait. Pretty pictures it ain't but god damn struggle it is. Impatiance, pride & arrogance????, much easier to be humble and a whole lot safer. Take care all, heres wishing you all sucess. Paul O. |

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at the Community for making me so welcome when I visited today for the first time. An extra special thank you to Ian who showed me around and explained everything to me in such a fabulous way. I hope I didn't ask too many questions but everything was so interesting I wanted to know it all. Ian was very easy to talk to and just oozed positivity. I'd like to wish him all the very best for the future and hope he goes from strength to strength. |

Hello,
My name is Robin Marchesi and I spent 1977-1979 at the Ley Community.
In those days Brian Donellan was the director and Paul Toon a staff member. While I was in Phase 2 of treatment, the community began moving from Cumnor Hill to Yarnton.
I remember fondly, 'Thought of the Day'.
The motto: "Act as if/Think as if/Feel as if/Be."
Encounter groups, Sensitivity groups, Marathons, Haircuts and pull ups.
I believe I was the last person to receive a 'head shave' after running off with a certain Sue Morris.
Even though I rebelled again the Ley Community what I learnt there got me not just 'off' drugs but also 'off' addictive association.
My book entitled 'A Small Journal of Heroin Addiction' mentions a lot about the Ley. You can get it at Amazon. Also I have a website http://www.robinmarchesi.com
Anyway, as many, like it or not, thank you for saving my life, in another era. |
