  Wake up.
6:45 am
  Second Call: residents get up, wash and tidy their bed space.
7.30 am
  Residents meet in lounge for morning jobs to be allocated.
8.00 am
  Breakfast time.
9.00 am
  Morning Meeting: residents meet without staff to review how everyone is feeling and talk about their expectations of the day.
9.30 am
  'On structure': residents work in their departments ­ housekeeping, kitchens, on the grounds etc.
11.00 am
Education Seminar or Specialist Group.
12.00 pm

 

Lunch.
1.00 pm
Therapy Group: residents have the opportunity to talk about how they feel, confront each other on unacceptable behaviour, and deal with past.
3.30 pm
After groups, time to reflect. Various team building exercises may be arranged.
5.00 pm
Dinner.
5.30pm
Free time to relax, write letters, talk to other residents, or write up daily dairies.
6.30 pm
Evening activities: range of classes and therapeutic activities (often light hearted trust games) are arranged each evening.
8.00 pm
Therapeutic relating, peer groups and/or light hearted trust games.
9.00 pm
Evening activities end, followed by supper.
9.30 pm
Relaxing in the lounge.
10.00 pm
All residents go to their rooms.
