| The Ley Community is an internationally renowned Addiction Therapeutic Community based outside Oxford, providing a residential programme for up to fifty eight men and women who have been severely damaged by addiction to drugs and/or alcohol. The new Chief Executive will provide overall leadership for the Community with a particular focus on developing strategies in a challenging external environment. |

| The priorities will be: |

- To lead the senior management team, with ultimate responsibility to the Board of Trustees
- To further develop external relationships with international, national and local agencies, criminal justice organisations and political figures, representing the Ley and putting forward its interests
- To develop systems and policies for the organisation that support the day to day running of the treatment programme

| We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead this exceptional organisation through its next phase of development. You will probably have experience in this sector, or be able to demonstrate an understanding of therapeutic communities, as well as a strong business and strategic sense. |
