Each year, the Ley Community receives a number of grants and donations
from both organisations and individuals. Donations from individuals
have been used to provide additional opportunities for residents
that could not have been provided but for the donation.
Examples
of such donations have included the provision of smart clothing
for interviews for residents who have come to the Ley Community
with little or no decent clothing at the time of admission.
As a charity, the Ley Community is able to claim back tax on all
donations. That means that for every £100 donated, the Ley
Community can receive £122 by the donor simply completing a
Gift Aid form. These forms can be obtained through the Finance Officer
on request at the Ley Community. |
