FUNDING
REQUIREMENTS - FROM 1st April 2008 TO 31st March 2009
The Treatment Programme normally lasts 12 months, but will vary
in length to meet individual need in discussion with Funding Agencies.
The Programme is divided into three distinct sections as outlined
below. Admission to Residential Care requires funding commitment
for all three sections.
RESIDENTIAL RE-ENTRY - APPROXIMATELY 4 WEEKS (Stage
5)
Cost
to Local Authority - 209.00 per week
A supported 4 week period once employment is obtained,
for the care of the resident until they are able to support themselves
from their own earned income.
RESIDENTIAL FOLLOW THROUGH - APPROXIMATELY 8 WEEKS
(Stage 5 continued)
Cost
to Local Authority 62.50 per week
An eight week period for the care of residents
during the early stage of their establishment as self-supporting
members of society.
